Case Study: From MyAffiliates to Trackdesk — How a High-Volume iGaming Operator Got the UX and Flexibility Their Program Needed

See how a regulated online casino operator migrated off MyAffiliates, gained full operational control over their affiliate program, and finally unlocked the platform flexibility their partners had been asking for.

Executive Summary

In iGaming, affiliate programs don't fail because operators lack traffic. They fail because the infrastructure underneath can't handle the vertical's complexity — rigid commission structures, poor UX, and third-party integrations that never quite work the way they should. High-value partners walk when the platform doesn't match the operation they expect.

This operator had outgrown MyAffiliates. The UI wasn't competitive, the integration with their casino platform was broken, and the deal structures they needed to attract serious affiliates simply weren't possible. Moving to Trackdesk gave them the operational control, flexibility, and partner experience their program had been missing. The affiliate network scaled from 200 to almost 1,000 affiliates and revenue followed, growing 300% within 6 months.

About the Client

A high-volume iGaming operator running online casino and sports betting brands across multiple regulated markets. Due to NDA, we're keeping their name out of this article. Their affiliate network spans a significant number of partners across different tiers — from individual media buyers and KOLs to large affiliate organisations managing substantial player volumes.

The Challenge: Broken Data, Wrong Commissions, Demanding Affiliates

The operator had been running their affiliate program on MyAffiliates. As the network grew and the deals got more complex, three problems compounded on each other.

The iSoft integration gap. Their casino platform of choice was iSoft — an industry-standard system that handles real-time player activity: deposits, wagers, withdrawals, bonus events. None of that data had a reliable path into affiliate attribution. Their affiliate commissions were being calculated on incomplete information, and this led to multiple disputes with partners.

Negative revenue from withdrawals. iGaming operators know this problem well. When a high-value player makes a large withdrawal, it creates negative revenue at the network level. Most affiliate platforms aren't built to model this correctly. The operator's existing setup wasn't either. The commission logic was fundamentally broken for any affiliate driving high-volume players.

A platform that couldn't compete for premium partners. High-tier affiliates expected a white-labeled, branded experience: a multifunctional dashboard, flexible offer structures, private deal management, and proper T&C sign-off workflows. MyAffiliate's UI, feature set, and pricing model were all working against the operator's ability to attract and retain the partners they wanted.

"The platform we were on wasn't built for the complexity of iGaming at scale. We needed negative revenue logic, deep third-party integration, and a white-label experience that could actually win and retain high-value affiliates — without paying for features we'd outgrown."  Mark C. - Affiliate Program Lead

The Solution: TrackdeskBuilt for iGaming Complexity

Trackdesk's implementation team worked directly with the operator to scope, build, and migrate the entire affiliate program. The goal wasn't a like-for-like replacement of MyAffiliates. It had to be a meaningful upgrade in UX, operational capability, and platform flexibility. Migration took approximately 3 weeks, followed by a month of optimisation and final touches, with no disruption to active affiliate commissions.

  • iSoft integration with real-time event workers.
Trackdesk deployed custom background event workers — processes that pick up events from the iSoft platform and route them into Trackdesk automatically. Full integration guidelines were also documented for the operator's internal team.

  • Negative revenue handling at the commission level..
When player withdrawals generate a negative net figure, that is now correctly reflected in commission calculations — ensuring affiliates are paid on true performance, not inflated gross numbers. This fix removed a persistent source of partner disputes.

  • White-label portal with full brand customisation.
The affiliate portal was fully white-labeled to the operator's brand, delivering the professional experience that high-tier partners expect.

  • Private offers with T&C sign-off across CPA, RevShare, and hybrid.
Multi-model payouts across CPA, RevShare, and hybrid structures were configured per offer, giving the operator the flexibility to provide specific deal terms to each partner tier.

  • Custom reporting and compliance-grade analytics.
Trackdesk's Report Builder was configured to surface the metrics the operator actually needs: net revenue per affiliate, payout reconciliation across multiple brands, and performance breakdowns.

  • Fraud detection and data regulation controls. Implemented to meet compliance obligations across regulated markets — without creating friction for legitimate high-performing affiliates.

Results: Better UX, More Flexibility, 5× the Affiliates

Once the migration was complete and the iSoft integration was live, growth was consistent and compounding.

  • The affiliate network scaled from 200 to almost 1,000 affiliates — without adding operational overhead or losing control of the program.

  • Revenue grew by 300%, driven by the ability to attract better partners and structure deals that actually converted.

  • Migration from MyAffiliates took approximately 3 weeks, followed by a month of optimisation — with zero attribution gaps and no disruption to active commissions.

  • For the first time, iSoft platform events were routed directly into Trackdesk — closing the loop between casino activity and affiliate attribution..

  • Negative revenue from player withdrawals was fully resolved at the commission level, ensuring affiliates were paid on accurate net performance.

  • The operator referred multiple other iGaming brands to Trackdesk — the clearest signal that the platform delivered the expected results.

The growth wasn't just a function of having better infrastructure — it was a function of being able to go after better partners via the white-label portal, the private offer management, the T&C workflows.

Build Your iGaming Affiliate Program on Trackdesk

The problems this operator faced — iSoft data gaps, broken negative revenue logic, a platform that couldn't compete for premium partners — are not unique to them. They're structural limitations of using affiliate infrastructure that wasn't built with iGaming in mind.

Trackdesk gives iGaming operators:

  • Real-time integration with third-party casino platforms, including negative revenue handling

  • A pricing model that scales proportionally with your program

  • Full white-label portals with private offer management and T&C approval workflows

  • CPA, RevShare, and hybrid commission structures per offer

  • Compliance-grade reporting, fraud detection, and data regulation controls

  • White-glove migration from any existing platform

  • And much more

If your affiliate program is hitting the ceiling of what your current platform can support, the ceiling is the platform — not your program.
